Last Night

Last night Jeremy ate, slept, pooped, peed, and breathed like a champ. I really like the nurse he had last night (everyone has worked on him at least once before or has worked a shift while Jeremy has been here). I really didn't want the nasal cannula on. It just gets in the way when he tries to eat. As you can see, he hardly keeps it in place anyway. So she took it off for him. Plus, we are not taking home that type of equipment.

His doctor is in there now doing a little snipping. Graig walked in and then walked out luckily before it started. We are waiting for him to come talk to us. The nurse told Graig what she thinks the plan is, but I want to hear it from the doctor before I put it online.

In about 45 minutes we have his monitor training. It was really nice that my neighbor went and got trained already. I am really glad we called her the other day. She is going to be a great resource for us. It's hard because we don't really know our neighbors that well (except we can get into some long conversations by our back fence while the bugs eat us alive). But we just know we would feel better having someone else a house away in case we need some help. Plus she and my other neighbor are going to call the closest fire house and ask them to do a trial run so we are comforted to know how close they are. Plus they will be aware that there is a baby that has apnea. She said they should be about 4 minutes away.

More in a bit, time to feed him....sorry i didn't proof this.
