Twinkle's Big Day Out

This picture is from Friday while we were lounging around waiting for my family to make it down from South Bend. It is a rare moment in which Jeremy is awake, happy, and not kicking/punching like crazy.

Twinkle had a vet appointment this morning, about 2 or 3 months over due. Graig went with us since I didn't think I could carry both the cat and the baby at the same time. It was funny because we put Jeremy in his seat and Twinkle in her carrier well before we had to leave. We didn't think Twinkle would cooperate and we would be fighting with her for a long time. But fortunately she went right in without an issue. Jeremy was in a desperate need for a nap, so we put him in his car seat so he would be fast asleep by the time we got to the vet.

We were waiting in the exam room and Twinkle was roaming free. When the tech came in for Twinkle, she ran behind Jeremy's car seat for protection. Graig and I had a good laugh because she has no desire to be anywhere near Jeremy at home. After having to take blood and get 4 shots poor Twinkle was done. The best part was Jeremy slept through the entire trip.

When Jeremy outgrows sleeping in his car seat all the time, I will be very sad. It is very nice to run errands without him needing anything more than his comfortable car seat. Yesterday we went to the Indy auto show (anyone need a minivan designed specifically for black jack?) and he did wake up after a few hours when he was hungry. But soon after some food and a new diaper he was happy again. It helped that his uncle showed him a robot. Kids love robots.

what you couldn't carry Jeremy & Twinkle at the same time???? You'd be in trouble if you had twins!!!! :)
