Is it nesting?

With my time off from work, I have tried to do some projects around the house. One of the major projects is going through my office area. It took a very long time because when you reorganize you tend to make a bigger mess for a couple of days. At least I do. Twinkle is also very helpful in this process. Not only does she have to be in the same room as me at all times, but she likes to sit on whatever I am looking over. I was a little concerned that I would go into labor doing all of this and have to come home to papers, books, and random items everywhere. Have no fear, I am done and no labor yet.

You could say that Graig and I have a hard time letting go of items we think we might need. The worst is notes and books from college. We have a collection of 12 years of text books (mostly Graig since I refused to waste money on pharmacy textbooks that are out-of-date by the time they are printed) and I have huge binders of class notes. It's hard because there is a small part of me that thinks I might need them one day. I even had to ask a bunch of my pharmacy friends if they have saved any of their notes. They have convinced me to toss them. Let's just say that our recycling bin is going to be overflowing tomorrow. The best part is I haven't even started going through most of them yet. I have most of my binders in the guest room closet. Maybe I will tackle that project later.

The point of all of this is to make room on our bookshelves for children's books. Apparently Enrico will grow up and have stuff besides a pack n play and swing. I am making progress because there are 2 empty shelves now. I have about 3 shelves of books and items. How many does Graig have? 10. Plus we have a bunch of plastic containers in our garage that is storing who knows what. But I must say this is progress for us.
