Fall Days

We had quite a lovely weekend. There are a few pictures to document the awesomeness. One of the highlights was going to a local farm and picking out a pumpkin. The pumpkins there are huge! We could have taken the hayride out to the pumpkin patch and picked our own, but we are lazy so we didn't. I remember growing up going to Bengtson's farm in Homer. The place near us isn't nearly as awesome, but it was still nice. It might also be that I am no longer a child.....

We also picked up some apple pie and cider. Fall is fantastic. Too bad I don't have many clothes to wear. Most of my maternity clothes are for warmer weather. I didn't feel like buying that many warmer clothes, especially since I am not working.

My brother Dan came over to watch that horrible Purdue game. The highlight of the whole weekend was freaking him out when the baby would move. Apparently, having my stomach move all around was weird for him. I must admit it took several weeks for me to get over the weirdness of having my belly move all over the place.

Graig was really happy to finally be able to watch the Giants on Sunday. He still peeled some potatoes for me in between plays. It was all worth it because I made some fantastic potato soup. If you want to make Graig and Dan happy go to their awesome blog.

Another fun thing is having contractions while I am trying to do things. Graig and I voted Saturday morning since we might be "busy" on election day. It's so much fun having a contraction while you are trying to vote. Another fun contraction moment was when we were walking in Lowe's. The person behind us did not appreciate it when I slowed down. I had them again a few times at the grocery store. We went to my younger brother Tom's marching band competition. I usually get contractions when I walk around and I got to walk a lot trying to find Tom after the show. However when I lie or sit down the contractions mostly stop. My walks in the neighborhood are a little over a mile. One day I think I will just do 10 loops. Hopefully that will start something.
