Stick Tree

Memorial Day weekend I told my teenage neighbor that if she cuts down all the dead parts of the stick tree, I would pay her. Never joke about giving a teenager money. The next day she was ready to go. So with some help from Graig and other neighbors most of the dead sticks came down.

Next came the problem of getting rid of all the sticks. Well, we kept them mostly on our property behind our fence. Mostly.

Today someone is coming to take the sticks away. Hopefully when I get home from work tonight they will be gone!

Too bad I didn't get a before and after shot of the stick tree. Well you can see the giant hole from the second picture. As you can see, the dead branches were very tall.

So if we just stand at a different angle, like the last picture, the tree looks normal.
