Why? Because we can get there when it opens on a hot day and see what we want to see and leave before it hits 90. We saw a few of the outside stuff first, then moved into the air conditioned parts. The first picture is in the dolphin dome. We stayed down there during part of the show. It was interesting to see the dolphins swim underwater during their tricks. We thought Jeremy might be interested in seeing them. But he was more interested in the lights reflecting on the water over our heads.

Next we went to the butterfly garden. Jeremy enjoyed a bottle while we enjoyed sitting in temperature controlled nature.
Jeremy of course loved playing around in the grass in the gardens. We stayed until mommy and daddy got hot.

Look, I have a tongue!

My little explorer!

When we arrived at the zoo we parked in the shade. Since we didn't stay all day, our car was still soooo cool when we loaded up. Awesome.
