Haircut

Last Wednesday I was dressing Jeremy. And I was done with his long hair in the back. This summer I had cut the long pieces around his ears and the neckline. I kept waiting for the proper motivation to take Jeremy to the fancy kid's salon. But it never came. He would probably be so freaked out by the stranger getting close to his head. Plus if I am going to pay someone to cut it, it better be perfect.

Thus I grabbed the scissors in Jeremy's top drawer and started cutting. And cutting and cutting and cutting. We moved to several rooms while this haircut was going on. It was best to do it while he was distracted so I had to be patient. The top of his hair was so long. It took forever to trim it down. Then I took out Graig's electric razor for the area around his ears and his neck. He could have cared less about the sound. I had been "practicing" cutting his hair with the cover on for about a month. So Jeremy was used to it.

It definitely isn't perfect. A few pieces still need a little touch up. But it was a lot less stressful than taking him somewhere.

I took some pictures of him while he was eating his lunch. It's the only time he somewhat sits still enough for me to take some pictures.
