Yesterday I took Ben to his first check up. The little porker is not only back to his birth weight, but has gained a few ounces as well. He is currently 8 pounds 12 ounces (50-75%). He is 21 (75%) inches long, which is what the hospital said, but the hospital over-estimated Jeremy so I wanted to wait and see what his doctor's office said. The most exciting thing is that his head is in the 25-50%. Yup that is the most exciting thing.
Newborns eat, sleep, poop, pee, spit up, look around for a little bit, and then cry. Jeremy is not exactly used to all these things occurring at the same time as he wants to play.
After many spot cleanings, Ben got a sponge bath the other night. I mean I couldn't go to the pediatricians office with a stinky baby. Don't worry he spit up on himself later that night. But at least we made an effort.
He is so tiny and so cute.
Yeah he didn't like being cold.
But luckily as soon as he got his new clothes he was happy. Also do you remember what happened in that episode?

btw, ben is the cutest baby ever, equal only to his big bro. i love them both!
what's wrong with me that i only just noticed the seinfeld episode in the background? it's the episode when george fakes a handicap to get a job and receives a scooter from his kind-hearted boss only to be discovered as a fake and is chased down the street by some true handicap older folks on their scooters. that's a good one.
