Man yard work is exhausting. I am blogging as my break from trimming the bushes. Graig does most of the outside work because let's face it I'm lazy. But also I can only be outside for so long before my allergies drive me crazy. Plus now I have the added pleasure of having my belling starting to stick out and get in my way. My brother Dan was over yesterday and he so kindly pointed out all of the things he thinks I should do to my front garden. He is so nice. I think I should drive down to his house and return the favor.
So I have bought maternity clothes because apparently it is not appropriate for me to work in sweat pants and a t-shirt. If I left my white coat zipped up no one would probably notice. The other day I wore a maternity shirt to work and it was warm so I had my coat open. A customer asked if it was a boy or girl. I guess I need to start getting used to that. It is exciting how comfortable the maternity clothes are. When I have been out at the mall I have stopped at stores to look at the selection of maternity clothes and I must say I am pretty disappointed. The designs on most of the shirts are ugly. Target had some cute things, but they have tiny selection. Also some of the shirts look old (I'm assuming since they are cotton it's just how they look). On Saturday I finally went to a maternity store and I was very pleased with what I saw. I only bought a dress but I am sure I will be shopping there over the next few months. It will be hard because I will have to get summer clothes and items for fall. Hopefully I will get to use them again in a few years.
I guess it's time to get back the trimming the bushes.
