This heat is brutal. Well brutal because I can't have Ben outside as much as Jeremy wants to be outside. So when I was given this recipe for homemade play-dough, thank you very much Meagan, I thought I would give it a try.

Jeremy really enjoyed mixing the ingredients together.

He wanted to keep mixing.

Oh look a picture of Ben from earlier in the day. Ben was upstairs when we were making the play-dough. But I couldn't resist posting a picture of him.

Mixing it on the stove while holding Jeremy.

It kind of looks like crap until it cools.

Wow, didn't look so hot.

But once it cooled a little, it was awesome (mostly because of the smell of kool-aid in it).

I had to tell him not to eat it many times.

Putting the "dough dough" away.

Then he grabbed the container and decided to put it in a safe place....

Apparently that was the shelf in his closet.

he's so grown up! hopefully jeremy won't feel the need to put ben in a safe place - hahahaha!
I make my own play dough too. Unfortunately we don't have Kool-Aid where I live.
